I decided I could save $50 by learning to groom Annie myself. I checked some online instructions and then I did it:
Freshly groomed Annie with the pile of hair I brushed and cut out of her.
Since they always put a "frock" on her at the groomer I thought I should, too! I couldn't get her to stand up so I could get a good picture from the side, but she looks pretty darn good, if I do say so myself.

Ohhhh good job! I just tried to "groom" my husband's hair..unfortunately didn't turn out so well! :-( haha
You did such a great job. I wish I had checked this earlier. I took my golden to the groomers and they shaved her!!! I was so sad, but my husband was furious!

I am glad you decided to groom Annie yourself. I knew you could do it.
I do Gizmo too. It's great not spending the money, but some times I'd love to have him done by the groomers just so he "looks good", cause I get too impatient to do a REALLY good job.
Good job! Can I bring Mattie our dog down? I can cut humans but it scares me that I might cut her. I'll have to find out the website you used.
