We participated in the MDA muscle walk, in fact we raised $6000 for ALS research. I'm touched by all the people who gave to my team and came to support this worthy cause. Laura and Alan designed these cool sweatshirts for our team.  Thank you so much!

Michael's Hump Day!

One year ago today we took Michael to the MTC.  It seems like a long time since I've seen him!  Last week at the ward party, several people told me that this year has gone by fast for them.  I feel like it has gone so slowly, partly due to my illness.  I'm so grateful to be on the downward slope for Michael's mission.  I feel bad that Michael is not coming home to the same mother he left.

Cross-country Skiing

Kathy arranged for Sam at Sundance to take me up to the level ground (Elk Meadows).  So  Heather and Kathy rode in the back and I rode in the front of the cat and drove up to the level ground.  I snapped into my skiis and took off on the tracks.  The snow was rather slushy.  When I got to a downhill I fell down, my legs are too weak to do a decent snowplow.  I was scared of doing permanent damage.  My friends abandoned their skiis and walked me down the hill in my skiis.  So Heather and I just sat on a picnic table and waited for Kathy to go around Elk Meadows.  We just walked down the hill and back to the Yurt with my friends on each side of me.  I'm sad that my skiing days are over, but I have such good friends that helped me try.

Snowshoeing!

Yesterday my dear friends, Heather and Kathy, took me snowshoeing. I thought my adventure days were over, but I did it!  I was able to snowshoe for quite a ways.  Thankfully, my friends let me decide when to turn around.  We went up South Fork to Big Springs.  We didn't make it all the way to the springs, but I had an adventure!

On Sunday we celebrated Myla's second birthday and Hannah's first birthday.  A good time was had by all!  Myla's birthday is March 10th, and Hannah's is March 21st.

Laura  had a party for Dr. Suess Birthday.  We had green eggs and ham and read Dr. Suess books and made "Cat in the Hat" hats.  Plus it's Laura's half birthday!
