The other day I rolled over in bed and had the perfect view of the waning gibbous moon just over the trees outside my window. If I would have turned just a little later, I would have missed it; I consider this a tender mercy in my life.
From Romeo and Juliet:
Romeo: Lady, by yonder blessed moon I swear, the tips with silver all these fruit-tree tops.--
Juliet: O, swear not by the moon, the inconstant, moon, that changes nightly in her circled orb. Less that thy love prove likewise variable.
I disagree with Juliet. I love that the moon moves through it's phases with regularity and you can always know where it is and what phase it is in. I love the moon, it is not variable, but with certainty you can always know where it is!
By the way, I memorized Juliet's balcony scene for an acting class I had my freshman year of college.
Ayden did a solo in a competition. Laura, Jenny and I went to see him perform. He was amazing; I just kept thinking about Mary dancing and her son dancing so well. I was in tears by the end. It was perfect!
After we went to dinner with Mary and Laura and the gkiddies at the Old Spaghetti Factory. I actually was able to eat some soup and 2 raviolis, that's a new record for me. I haven't been able to eat much lately without choking. Thank goodness for the feeding tube!

Since Laura's kids were on spring break, and Mary's kids were off-track, we went to Layton on Tuesday.
Andrew decided he wanted a haircut - in fact, he wanted it a little longer than his Dad's. So Mary cut off all his curls and he loved the result.
