I'm a wife, mother of six and nanajan to seven. I love caring for my family and home and anything that takes me outside: walking, gardening, hiking and cross-country skiing. I was recently diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease)
Let us then labor for an inward stillness~ An inward stillness and an inward healing; That perfect silence, where the lips and heart Are still, and we no longer entertain Our own imperfect thoughts and vain opinions, But God alone speaks in us, and we wait In singleness of heart, that we may know His will, and in the silence of our spirits That we may do His will, and do that only!
I know what kind of work that was as I had a neighbor give me a bunch of tomatoes and I did the same thing; blanch, peel, cook and make spaghetti sauce. You will enjoy the fruits of your labors later in the year. I used mine right away.
Oh! I have bags of tomatoes that I have been avoiding canning, but I have to do something with them...problem solved! Thanks for filling my afternoon tomorrow.

Nice use of your tomatoes... Though I can't stand them... I'm glad your garden experience turned out so well.
Next year we're doing this Square Foot Gardening thing (google it) I think you'd enjoy doing it as well.
