Ice Skating

The day that Laura left to go home we went ice skating. I wanted to try out my new skates and Connor has been wanting to give skating a try. Fortunately, we have a friend whose husband loves hockey and turns their sport court into an ice rink each winter. We had fun; even tried a little hockey.

I discovered that I was supposed to have my new skates sharpened before using them, and they were a bit tight, so I've had them stretched and sharpened. Now I'm really ready to hit the ice!
